if i wan't to update my Apache server contents, how i can check there is no user access to the server currently to make me can close down the serverver service to do updating?
who know this thread solution, plz reply me . thank you..

Try looking at the latest entries in the Apache server logs. If the latest entries are all quite old (minimum five minutes I'd say) then you can go ahead. |

beside the log file is it have any real time checking of the user?
what i want is to check that is it any user access my apache server. if make sure that there is no user at that time i will close down my server and update.
if there is a user how can i block the traffic and let the previous user complete their transaction then i will down the whole server. how can i perform it.
u the webmaster how u update u server and make sure that no user at that time?

You can get a list of the current requests by using "apachectl fullstatus". From the man page:
