I went off to mysql.com after someone said to download their programme (I needed a DBMS). What exactly is it as I can't really tell? I tried to install in onto my computer but nothing much happened! Is it a different phpMyAdmin? I'm completely lost!

You'll need to write a PHP/Perl script to connect to your MySQL server. phpMyAdmin is a PHP script which also connects to your database (MySQL) server. |

You don't need MySQL on your computer unless you want to test your scripts offline. |

Hi!
There are a lot of programs listed on that page. Which one were you referring to.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
