how do i get loadz peopel to visit my forum not just my frineds but the public ?? |

Hi Mike,
Right now it's a very cheap hack . All I did was include an extra field in the config table, called global_announcement. I then passed this field on to the templates in page_header.php with the assign command. I then included the assigned variable in the viewforum.tpl template, above the normal post rows. So this field basically contains an HTML link to a topic.
As to editing it, it's done via the admin panel in the "Configuration" section. Just copy the existing code for "site description" and apply it to this new field. |

According to the developers that should be before the end of this year, but you never know
You know there is a global announcements mod floating around, which works somewhat like global announcements do in 2.2...  |
