Starting today, there is a special "profile" page for all tutorial authors:

http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Adam
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Amadeus
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Bill
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Daniel
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Dave
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=eKstreme
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Jeremy
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Jos
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Justin
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Peter
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Rod
http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/authors.php?author=Tara

This page has the possibility of the following fields, which won't appear if they are empty:
  • Location
  • Bio (doesn't actually have to be a bio, can just be any information you want to appear on your profile Smile)
  • Occupation
  • Website
  • Your tutorials, of course
To update your profile (I have already incorporated the information you gave for your forum account), please contact me.

Also, if you have any suggestions as to other fields which should be added, let me know.

Got an idea for another tutorial, if you're interested. It might even be complicated enough to make a series. You've got a couple of topics in your database category, but what about an article (or two or three) on either basic database design, or basic SQL language. Let me know if you like the idea, and I'll put something together.

Also used the contact form to send you more info for my bio. Wink

I got your bio Dave, thanks Very Happy. I'm still thinking about a way to put multiple websites in without too much hassle (otherwise I just may create a 2nd website field).

[edit] I simply added all your sites into one field with commas in between them. Very Happy [/edit]

As to your tutorial, we're always interested. That particular topic is a good idea, because it's needed for whatever work you do on databases later on. When it's ready, simply PM it to me (or give me a link to it if it's already got formatting - remember to use XHTML if it is!).

Oh, by the way, you can provide a small photo/avatar to go with your profile too. Just make sure it's not too big (like a forum avatar) and it's not too heavy.
