I have finally found out what I should be doing for my website, using PHP with a database! Took me quite long!
Anyway, I have done a couple of tutorials, such as the one on webmonkey which is great but I like to have what I need to know in book form.
Can anyone recommend a good book that covers this? I have a copy of Beginning PHP4 from Wrox but this doesn't really go into enough detail for me. I want it to go into everything the webmonkey tutorial does really. I found Beginning PHP 4 Databases (alos from Wrox) which looks quite good but I would like to know what to get as they are expensive!
Thanks

Yeah, I have already got the Wrox book and I have had a look at the Sammy book and it is just the same as the Wrox.
Any more suggestions? |

they're not books, but there are some PHP (and probably some mySQL) articles here at 4WebHelp, you might wanna read them. |

Hi Bill,
What I usually do is go to a bookshop (usually quite big otherwise the selection isn't very good - in fact they probably won't even have any PHP books! ), and look at all the books. That way I don't end up buying a book which I don't like . |
