I'm wondering, what does a browser need in order to view data-access-pages?

The problem i'm having:

I have an access-database on CD, together with a data-access page that reads the database.

I stored the data access page as HTM, in order to let it run on a clients Internet explorer.

When i try to let it run on a computer that doesn't have access or office installed, i get a "Data Access Page Notification", saying microsoft office web components are not installed.

Is there another viewer available that can display data-access pages? Or is there a way to have the neccessary web components on CD that can be invoked whenever a data access page is opened in a clients browser?

Or does maybe somebody has another idea?

I'm not familiar with this at all, but I would imagine you need to have Office installed to use it. If there is another viewer you can probably find it on the Microsoft web site, but I don't know if the license agreement will allow you to put it on a CD.
