What are the scripts to connect to database on the web server?

My page contains a listbox which has over 300 data. I had exported the list to mysql database using myPhpAdmin. What I need now is to code to retrieve these data from the database so that when I click on the listbox, i can see the whole list of data.

Please help!

What you need is a beginner's MySQL tutorial. Try a search or read this one:
