I am trying to upload files with FTP, but I can't succeed.
When I use FLASHFXP it disconnects before it can upload and attempts to reconnect (again and again...):
Code: | LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list
226 Transfer complete.
TYPE A
200 Type set to A.
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (194,106,33,44,204,16).
STOR random.txt
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for random.txt
Connection Lost
Attempting to Reconnect. |
When I use CUTEFTP it uploads the files and then uploads them again and again.
Everything worked last week when I uploaded with FLASHFXP.
What happened?
Thanx |

At the moment it seems like there is a problem with the Freedom2Surf FTP Server that handles all websites in the form of www.username.f2s.com.
Examples of users having this problem are the following symptoms :
- Loss of connection when trying to upload files
- Loss of connection when trying to download files
- Loss of connection whilst deleting files
- Loss of connection while CHMOD'ing files.
It is currently not known what the problem is that is causing this outage, as ever, I will update you as soon as I know any further news from our own sources, or from Freedom2Surf themselves.
FTP Services to users with their own domain name, remains unaffected.

Dear Users,
The Freedom2Surf FTP Outage effecting all www.username.f2s.com sites now seems to have been resolved, we do not yet know the cause of this problem, but if we do find any more details out about the downtime, we will of course let you know.
Downtime was 17 hours.
Kind Regards,
