Adsl here i come

Well i have taken the plunge and applied for adsl via F2s.. So long as my line passes the test all should be well, except mrs isn't overjoyed at the prospect of more money dissapearing into my puter.... Rolling Eyes

I just hope i have chosen right...Still at least i'll get my webspace back again Very Happy

All I can tell you is that I don't think you'll regret it! I sure don't! I could never go back to 56k again now!

If you need a modem theres one on Dabs for about £60....

Hope to be getting ADSL soon provided its available here, having lost my cable connection I cannot put with with dial up everythings so slowwwwwww

I'm already very used to my 3Mbps broadband, as I've used it for nearly 1 year... It is impossible to go back to 56k. Ahh, what am I going to do when the contract expires? They already raised to price!

Yes so i notice.... I was looking at a pci card but Dabs have been out of stock for ages and didn't show when they were comming in (heard many folks on B/O as well), so i have got mine (usb) via f2s at least they arn't over pricing them like others.. Now i find dabs have 400 in stock Mad

Still i'll see how it goes then maybe build a linux box to act as server and network the other's off of that...
