It really depends on the website you want to be hosted. The factors you need to consider are:
- The number of page hits you get in a month
- The average page size (including the size of associated images, CSS style sheets, etc...)
- Expected growth in the near future |

Hi,
Entirely depends on your needs. If your site is graphics intense then a
good amount of badnwidth is needed, but you see many hosting accounts
offering bandwidth in the tens of Gbs, 20Gb 30Gb 40GB, which really is
overkill in most cases.

I think it is difficult to recommend a specific minimum amount of bandwidth, since it depends on how you design your site, your target audience, and the number of visitors you're able to attract to your site. |
