Hi, I want to get the current time as a mySQL timestamp from my database. What command should I use?
mysql> SELECT now();
only gives it in the wrong format
e.g 2000-08-03 16:56:03
thanks, |

I'm just curious, why would you want to SELECT the current time from your database, as opposed to just getting it from PHP? |

Because the time on the DB is different to that in PHP because they are on different servers.
I have just worked out a better way to do this so it doesn't matter now.
