I have a site at f2s and used to have a really nice look for one of my directory listings -- a custom job that that fit in with the color scheme of my site. I was able to do this by having the following .htaccess file in my directory:

Options +Indexes
IndexOptions +SuppressHTMLPreamble
HeaderName .header.html
ReadmeName .footer.html

Now for some mysterious reason the HTML Preamble that Apache uses by default is not being suppressed. What's up with that?

Did f2s decided to turn off letting users have this option?
