Okay welcome to the resource center for moving hosts!

Hosts you might like to try that have no ads:

nvpHost - Everyting that F2S had but no CGI/Perl

Hosts you might like to try that have ads:

MultiMania - lol, the same as nvpHost but with ads!

Guide to moving hosts Revised edition by Roland Verlander

1. Find a host that suits your needs and signup

2. FTP to ftp.YOURSITE.f2s.com and download all of your files to your computer

3. If you have PHP/Perl/CGI/HTML files that need settings, references or paths changed change them now

4. If you use MySQL or PostgreSQL use the appropriate tool to make a dump of your db with structure AND data

5. FTP into your new host, re-upload all of your files

6. If you have a MySQL or PostgreSQL database import it to your new host

Thats It! Now your site is accessable on your new host!

Feel free to contribute by replying to this thread!

With their new system, they put ads even on php pages, I try it 2 weeks ago !

Although, I noticed that sometimes the ads system doesn't work !!
