Hi.
I hope I'm posting in the right place. I've come here in the hope of a little help.
I'm in the process of setting up my first "real" website. I've purchased hosting from one company and a domain from another, (1&1). I've set the domain to redirect to my webspace. It seems to work fine, except that when a link is clicked on my site, the URL in the browsers address bar does not change, even when the link takes users to a new site, it remains the same.
I just wondered if this was something that I could prevent, maybe by doing something in my 1&1 domain preferences or in the control panel (cpanel) provided by my host?
I'm sorry if I sound like a total newbie, but that's exactly what I am.
Any help you could offer would be appreciated.
Thanks. |

Does 1&1 have a framed/cloaked forwarding option? If so, turn it off. |

Hi again.
Thanks for the response.
I've checked the 1&1 control panel and there doesn't seem to be any kind of cloaked forwarding option.
Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks. |

Try emailing 1&1, but your chances now seem slim... |

I'll email them in the morning and see if I get any luck. If it can't be changed I may need to resort to transfering the domain, I'm not sure. It just seems a little much.
Thanks for your help. |
