Firebird has been replaced with version 0.8 (Firefox)

They have improved on some features of the browser (such as the bookmarks and media handling)

Lots of bug fixes and generally a hot poo browser Wink

The name sounds very stupid, and I'm tired of these name changes. Other than that, it sounds great. I'll be upgrading from 0.7 some time soon Smile

I have Mozilla Firebird 0.8, I got the last nightly in the firebird name before they changed it, is exactly the same as firefox 0.8 just with the different name.

It also has a windows installer rather than a zip file so if your desperate to have the same browser without the stupid name, drop me a mail/

FireFox sounds stupid though.

they should have named it after a kewler animal then a fox, like fireiguana or fireardvark.... it would be funny to change all the source to fireardvark but i bet by the time you've done it there will be an update lol...

Incidently if you want to be able to view SVG graphics in Mozilla Firefox 0.8 then you need to copy the plugins into your plugins directory:

http://dev.byng-designs.com/public/svg-viewer.zip

...contains :

NPSVG6.dll
NPSVG6.zip
