Website » How can I find out which server I'm on?
Go to the online Ping script, enter your site name, and click "Ping". On the first line of the output you should see the server number.

If this method does not work, then use the MS-DOS ping. To do this, simply bring up an MS-DOS prompt and type:

ping www.YOURSITE.f2s.com

You should see the server number in the return information. The server number will look like: 0044 if you are on server 44.

Your server name can also be seen in the FTP welcome message after logging on. It'll say something like: server0039.freedom2surf.net. Do not believe it. This information is sometimes wrong. Use MS-DOS or our ping script instead.
